What is a wobbelboard?

During our courses we use an original Wobbelboard®.  You do not need to bring one yourself, we provide all of them.

The Wobbel/ Wobbelboard finds it origin in the Waldorf-schools, known as the "Vrije School" in the Netherlands. They used to call it a rocker board, but quit with designing them. Hence Hannelore Blaauw and Wouter Haine decided to create the Wobbel/Wobbelboard.  

The first Wobbels were finished by the end of 2015 and became incredibly popular. It is a wonderfully designed balance board aiming at a playful improvement of self-awareness, creativity, balance and strength.

Only natural elements were used for the design (combined ecological wool and felt together with European birch).

The Wobbelboard is CE certified until 200 kilograms. It is not only used at home but also in kindergarten, schools, etc.

The Wobbel stimulates balance and strength during play and use. In a playful way, but very efficiently, it supports physical awareness and balance. When using it as a training device, specific muscle groups can be isolated, while other exercises train big muscle groups. This goes for (young) children, adults and even the elderly.
